Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Elias Andueza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Harendarski having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Juan Alfonso Dudagoitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karlos Pezoa was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Alcides Balut capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alcides Balut really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Jeraldo Jons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chilpa FC's goalkeeper Karlos Pezoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Cobresal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Riesco. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristofer Iriberry during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristofer Iriberry hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st match minute, Cobresal F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Fuentes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cobresal F.C. booed when Chilpa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeraldo Jons didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Alcides Balut tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karlos Pezoa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cobresal F.C.'s Filiberto Geleberto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karlos Pezoa. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. In the 42nd match minute, Chilpa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristofer Iriberry to maneuver through the defense. Karlos Pezoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alcides Balut's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alcides Balut made the kick off in the second half. If Jeraldo Jons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Evelio Villarreal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlos Pezoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiberto Geleberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Karlos Pezoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alcides Balut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Evelio Villarreal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Chilpa FC's Jeraldo Jons ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zbyszko Harendarski. Zbyszko Harendarski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Germán Saravia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Zbyszko Harendarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Villarreal struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Karlos Pezoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cobresal F.C.. When Edmundo Roco came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Cobresal F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Roco couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Cobresal F.C.'s Ronald Fuentes got a free kick in the 85th minute. Germán Saravia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Alcides Balut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karlos Pezoa. Chilpa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alcides Balut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Cobresal F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
