Zarpas Sánchez kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Edgar Verdejo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The long shot by Txomin Altamirano in the 13th minute really tested Romano Araube's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Salsipuedes FC's zone, Markus Chamorro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Gazitúa came out of the goal and Markus Chamorro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Salsipuedes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Chamorro came free, but Franco Gazitúa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Andia charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Andia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Salsipuedes FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Andia. Salsipuedes FC's Franco Gazitúa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Chamorro in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Salsipuedes FC's Edgar Verdejo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romano Araube. Romano Araube yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 38 minutes into the game, Mauricio Contardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salsipuedes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caleu AFC the free kick. Mauricio Contardo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Caleu AFC's Mannuel Marsal got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42ndth minute of the game Markus Chamorro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salsipuedes FC's Franco Gazitúa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Romano Araube showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Devoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Caleu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Andia came free, but Romano Araube reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Caleu AFC booed when Salsipuedes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Manuel Rumie didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Salsipuedes FC's Franco Gazitúa got control of the ball when Markus Chamorro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franco Gazitúa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zarpas Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Salsipuedes FC's goalkeeper Franco Gazitúa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markus Chamorro. Romano Araube stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauricio Contardo's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 72 played minutes Caleu AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Ralph. Asier Binder, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Markus Chamorro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Franco Gazitúa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Romano Araube showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Devoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Romano Araube showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Andia in the 81st minute of the match. Markus Chamorro struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Franco Gazitúa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caleu AFC. Aurelio Ralph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Franco Gazitúa managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Caleu AFC's Markus Chamorro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Markus Chamorro came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Caleu AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Chamorro couldn't finish the play. Markus Chamorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salsipuedes FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
