Spectators: 5015 (Terracing: 4002, Seating: 1003, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Balendín Robinson started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Cumpeo booed when Fracasados F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Raab didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Carlos Banda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alirio Pradel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Angelino Moscoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Martinich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Emmanuel Portusagasti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Soto Tapia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Emmanuel Portusagasti made a huge save. Juan Carlos Banda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alirio Pradel in the 19th minute of the match. Cumpeo's Emmanuel Portusagasti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Cumpeo from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelino Moscoso in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Carlos Banda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Alirio Pradel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cumpeo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 42 played minutes Cumpeo got a freekick which was hit by Paulín Formoso. Alirio Pradel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Juan Carlos Banda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Cumpeo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alirio Pradel to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Angelino Moscoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Carlos Banda, 0-2. In the 56th minute, Luciano Soto Tapia made a precise shot to the right of Emmanuel Portusagasti. Cumpeo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Emmanuel Portusagasti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balendín Robinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cumpeo defense, Balendín Robinson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emmanuel Portusagasti. The Cumpeo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emmanuel Portusagasti should have stopped the shot. Balendín Robinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alirio Pradel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Moscoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes in the game, Angelino Moscoso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Juan Carlos Banda having to interfere. Alirio Pradel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Eduardo Martinich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cumpeo's Alirio Pradel got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cumpeo were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
