The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Renegados de Renford booed when Demolition Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricart Ibarboure didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Renegados de Renford's Patxi Achurra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Barrueto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Severino Barrueto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Oyarzabal went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ismael Yorgos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricart Ibarboure in the 21st minute of play. Ismael Yorgos came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Demolition Boys's Taurino Fell. But to his dismay, Taurino Fell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Zambón during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 minutes, Aníbal Granado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Demolition Boys and the Renegados de Renford players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aníbal Granado hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Aurelio Oyarzabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patxi Achurra to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Wilfredo Zambón could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Ismael Yorgos however easily saved by the left post. Patxi Achurra kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Demolition Boys's Xavián Schindler got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Renegados de Renford's Pacífico Pacull got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Ricart Ibarboure shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Yorgos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Gonzalo Perales managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renegados de Renford's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Perales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Barrueto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ismael Yorgos made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Natanael Basaure sent off a good shot on target. Aurelio Oyarzabal kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Severino Barrueto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Guevara in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Renegados de Renford fans cheered their team off the field, for while Demolition Boys had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
