In the 11th minute, Maxcianos Fc's Amado Coloma ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vasco Quijada. Vasco Quijada yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 17th minute Rogerio Jeldrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Alfonso Balart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Maxcianos Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolomé Nordenflycht to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Juan Miguel Poisson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Alfonso Balart. Maxcianos Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Miguel Poisson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Alfonso Balart prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teofilio Undurraga hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Juan Alfonso Balart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogerio Jeldrez in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of esabumaschu booed when Maxcianos Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Devilat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Rogerio Jeldrez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Alfonso Balart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogerio Jeldrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Urtsín Bezanilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Quijada having to interfere. Amado Coloma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogerio Jeldrez made a kick off. Maxcianos Fc's Juan Alfonso Balart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Maxcianos Fc from getting a goal against them.
