Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abelardo Esquerra got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Elodio Grove cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The tension between the Union Española and the Provincial Ranco players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Union Española getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Roger Ormachea hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Elodio Grove managed to get in a good position for a shot. Provincial Ranco's supporters rose to their feet, but Elodio Grove was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Estevan Durney made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Constantino Barrales sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Esquerra in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Estevan Durney saved Provincial Ranco from getting behind. The supporters of Union Española booed when Provincial Ranco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Dessauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Constantino Barrales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermelando Angel hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Abelardo Esquerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estevan Durney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Esquerra in the 30th minute of the match. Ireno Aspillaga kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Abelardo Esquerra fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 37th match minute, Provincial Ranco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elodio Grove to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Union Española defense, Felipo Mackenney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natalio Duarte. The Union Española fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natalio Duarte should have stopped the shot. Felipo Mackenney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Union Española players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Provincial Ranco were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elodio Grove stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nestor Constantinescu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Salbatore Barrenechea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Estevan Durney showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felipo Mackenney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natalio Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Union Española was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Ralph to maneuver through the defense. If Elodio Grove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Roger Ormachea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Union Española's goalkeeper Natalio Duarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Constantino Barrales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Nafarroa San Miguel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Felipo Mackenney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abelardo Esquerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elodio Grove in the 74th minute of play forced Union Española's goalkeeper Natalio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Elodio Grove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elodio Grove did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Natalio Duarte 77 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Elodio Grove's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natalio Duarte was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After having played for 85 minutes, Constantino Barrales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union Española's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Barrales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo Esquerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Provincial Ranco's goalkeeper Estevan Durney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Provincial Ranco got a freekick which was hit by Hermelando Angel. In the 95th minute of the match Salbatore Barrenechea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Estevan Durney showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Union Española supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Provincial Ranco's performance. The match ended with a win for Provincial Ranco.
