Lanceros FC's Dionisio Huneeus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Lanceros FC from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Tamariz Berau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelado Marraccini hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jaime Deves sped through esabumaschu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vasco Quijada. Jaime Deves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Quijada having to interfere. Vasco Quijada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Villarreal in the 28th minute of the match. Salbatore Gilberto struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Vasco Quijada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanceros FC. After a rather tough play, Lanceros FC's Saverio Potts got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Lanceros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oriol De Rurange came free, but Dionisio Huneeus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Lanceros FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Huneeus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tamariz Berau. After 34 played minutes Lanceros FC got a freekick which was hit by Baudelio Bustillos. In the 41st minute, Juan Miguel Poisson made a precise shot to the right of Dionisio Huneeus. Lanceros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamariz Berau in the 45th minute of play forced Lanceros FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Huneeus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Israel Villarreal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lanceros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave esabumaschu the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lanceros FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salbatore Gilberto made a kick off. Dionisio Huneeus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nauzet Isasiguia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st match minute, esabumaschu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelillo Finlay to maneuver through the defense. When Israel Villarreal came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Lanceros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Villarreal couldn't finish the play. Vasco Quijada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salbatore Gilberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Jaime Deves hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Rogerio Jeldrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Huneeus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Deves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasco Quijada having to make a save. After 97 minutes, Abelado Marraccini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanceros FC and the esabumaschu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of esabumaschu booed when Lanceros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelado Marraccini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Miguel Poisson might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Huneeus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Miguel Poisson ran back to his position shaking his head. Rogerio Jeldrez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The esabumaschu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lanceros FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
