Spectators: 8029 (Terracing: 6023, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 160) Lanceros FC's Salbatore Gilberto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Casimír Potts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Lanceros FC's Israel Villarreal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Asencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Lanceros FC's Salbatore Gilberto in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye COLO COLO's goalie prevented a goal. Nestor Peacock kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Dionisio Huneeus made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Nestor Peacock sent off a good shot on target. If Nestor Peacock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Jesus Wilkenson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dionisio Huneeus came out and tried to block the shot, but Horacio Jesus Wilkenson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salbatore Gilberto in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Asencio saved COLO COLO from getting behind. Nestor Peacock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dionisio Huneeus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baudelio Bustillos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salbatore Gilberto in the 26th minute of play forced COLO COLO's goalkeeper Victoriano Asencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salbatore Gilberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Lanceros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Jesus Wilkenson came free, but Dionisio Huneeus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Jesus Wilkenson in the 37th minute of play forced Lanceros FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Huneeus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lanceros FC's Dionisio Huneeus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Lanceros FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristián Bascur during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lanceros FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cristián Bascur hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horacio Jesus Wilkenson to strike the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Huneeus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Jesus Wilkenson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Lanceros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Peacock came free, but Dionisio Huneeus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Jesus Wilkenson in the 59th minute of play forced Lanceros FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Huneeus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lanceros FC booed when COLO COLO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Asencio came out of the goal and Israel Villarreal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baudelio Bustillos had several of the COLO COLO's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Victoriano Asencio as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dionisio Huneeus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Dalgalarrando in the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Lanceros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Jesus Wilkenson came free, but Dionisio Huneeus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Israel Villarreal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lanceros FC's Baudelio Bustillos got a free kick in the 79th minute. Maximiliano Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Massa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, COLO COLO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Massa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Jaime Deves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanceros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Deves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Asencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Nestor Peacock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Huneeus. Lanceros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Peacock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Dionisio Huneeus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Jesus Wilkenson's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Marcel Danitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Peacock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Dionisio Huneeus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
