With a little luck, Deportivo Andaluz's Jimmy McGill got control of the ball when Feliberto Nuñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Goeppet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Baracaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Baracaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Deportivo Andaluz getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Adam Salvatierra's late challenge caught a General Manuel Baquedano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Salvatierra helped the player get up and apologised.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franco Marholz to make the kick off. Vicente Baracaldo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-1 in the 53rd playminute. In the 62nd minute, Adam Salvatierra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Jiljí Ritter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. General Manuel Baquedano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jiljí Ritter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Deportivo Andaluz defense, Esteban Huelqui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimmy McGill. The Deportivo Andaluz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmy McGill should have stopped the shot. Feliberto Nuñez scored 7-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimmy McGill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
