After having played for 7 minutes, Enrique Mamani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Mamani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savier Serey in the 8th minute of play forced Renico FC's goalkeeper Francisco Javier Butto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Blue Poetry FC booed when Renico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Antonio Lermanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 minutes, Ursino Goñi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Renico FC and the Blue Poetry FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Ursino Goñi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Carlos Aramayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Poetry FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Aramayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Javier Butto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enrique Mamani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelius Macuer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Renico FC's Francisco Javier Butto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Carcuro in the 20th minute of play. Francisco Javier Butto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Aramayo went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Blue Poetry FC's Aurelius Macuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caupolicán Del Pino in the 28th minute of play. Manuel Carcuro's late challenge caught a Renico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Carcuro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Manuel Carcuro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Caupolicán Del Pino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelius Macuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Blue Poetry FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caupolicán Del Pino came free, but Aurelius Macuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Savier Serey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Francisco Javier Butto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Enrique Mamani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Ricard Basanguren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Blue Poetry FC's goalkeeper Aurelius Macuer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Mamani. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Juan María Cavareda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Caupolicán Del Pino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caupolicán Del Pino had several of the Blue Poetry FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Aurelius Macuer as he didn't even see the shot coming. Renico FC's Caupolicán Del Pino managed to work through Blue Poetry FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Caupolicán Del Pino dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Savier Serey came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Blue Poetry FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savier Serey couldn't finish the play. Aurelius Macuer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caupolicán Del Pino's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Carlos Aramayo's late challenge caught a Renico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Aramayo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Blue Poetry FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Aramayo to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes in the game, Caupolicán Del Pino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aurelius Macuer having to interfere. Renico FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
