Meseta Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Nuñez came free, but Merlin Nef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Callejas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Jiljí Ritter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Merlin Nef was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Constantino Abaroa hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Merlin Nef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Huelqui, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Johnathan Rowett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rambo Ramírez having to make a save. Mateo Rey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of C.D. Meseta Azul booed when General Manuel Baquedano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karlos Domeyco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Robert Callejas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johnathan Rowett struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Rambo Ramírez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.D. Meseta Azul. C.D. Meseta Azul's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Jiljí Ritter scored to the left of an out of position Merlin Nef, making the score, 3-0. Lorencio Lozano lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 46 minutes into the game, one of C.D. Meseta Azul:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Merlin Nef, was totally fooled by General Manuel Baquedano's Luis Angel Zapata, who 50 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

56 minutes into the game, Filomeno Barcena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.D. Meseta Azul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave General Manuel Baquedano the free kick. Filomeno Barcena hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Mannuel Fontaine charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mannuel Fontaine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Mannuel Fontaine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to General Manuel Baquedano getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mannuel Fontaine hit a great ball. C.D. Meseta Azul's Filomeno Barcena suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 60 minutes into the game, one of General Manuel Baquedano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Merlin Nef stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jiljí Ritter's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. C.D. Meseta Azul's Torgny Sjöström got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torgny Sjöström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of C.D. Meseta Azul booed when General Manuel Baquedano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Abaroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.D. Meseta Azul's Merlin Nef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiljí Ritter in the 74th minute of play. Feliberto Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jiljí Ritter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Merlin Nef was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Merlin Nef came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by General Manuel Baquedano's Feliberto Nuñez. But to his dismay, Feliberto Nuñez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Rey during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, C.D. Meseta Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Rey to maneuver through the defense. Merlin Nef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiljí Ritter, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Torgny Sjöström struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Rambo Ramírez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.D. Meseta Azul. Meseta Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Nuñez came free, but Merlin Nef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of C.D. Meseta Azul booed when General Manuel Baquedano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 101 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Abaroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.D. Meseta Azul's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
