Renico FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliberto Nuñez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Renico FC's zone, Esteban Huelqui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Javier Butto came out of the goal and Esteban Huelqui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caupolicán Del Pino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Jiljí Ritter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Javier Butto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rambo Ramírez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caupolicán Del Pino in the 59th minute of the match. Francisco Javier Butto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Goeppet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Francisco Iglesias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Javier Butto made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Feliberto Nuñez sent off a good shot on target. With 69 minutes on the clock, Natanael Buche commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 69th minute, one of Renico FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Renico FC. The goalkeeper, Francisco Javier Butto, was totally fooled by General Manuel Baquedano's Luis Angel Zapata, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Renico FC's Francisco Javier Butto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Renico FC from getting a goal against them. General Manuel Baquedano's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
