Daniel Montane kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Cornelio Aranguea came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Colocolito fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Aranguea couldn't finish the play. Benicio Pinto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cornelio Aranguea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Cornelio Aranguea succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 25th playminute. Jordi Abogabir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Montane, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Luis María Comas charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis María Comas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Colocolito fc's Silviano Landoff was substituted for Erik Sigorraga. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Montane to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis María Comas got free with Jordi Abogabir in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Pinuta's Daniel Montane slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jordi Abogabir. That made the score 3-2 after 54 minutes of play. Marc Duval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Pinto having to interfere. Quintín Toro's late challenge caught a Pinuta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quintín Toro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pinuta booed when Colocolito fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintín Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lauro Landman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Jordi Abogabir made a huge save. Jordi Abogabir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis María Comas in the 70th minute. The supporters of Pinuta booed when Colocolito fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintín Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc Duval struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Benicio Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colocolito fc. Luis María Comas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jordi Abogabir made a huge save. Jordi Abogabir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Reinaga in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Colocolito fc's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Montane came free, but Jordi Abogabir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinuta's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
