Tauro Bonilla started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Benicio Villagra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Piorno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tauro Bonilla in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceandro Cauffmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benicio Villagra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Herminio Piorno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Villagra in the 9th minute of play forced Futbol Rebelde's goalkeeper Herminio Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marino Socias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Herminio Piorno made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Futbol Rebelde's Nunez Fliz got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Villagra in the 16th minute of play forced Futbol Rebelde's goalkeeper Herminio Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceandro Cauffmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tauro Bonilla's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Tauro Bonilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Cristóbal Madariaga kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tauro Bonilla in the 24th minute of play forced Ñielol F.C's goalkeeper Ceandro Cauffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceandro Cauffmann came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Futbol Rebelde's Emílio de Barros. But to his dismay, Emílio de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eleazar Polanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceandro Cauffmann having to interfere. Nunez Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceandro Cauffmann having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Eleazar Polanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Benicio Villagra made the kick off in the second half. When Modesto Gartsman came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Futbol Rebelde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Gartsman couldn't finish the play. If Modesto Gartsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Ñielol F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germán Levenier to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Ñielol F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emílio de Barros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ceandro Cauffmann was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Tauro Bonilla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tauro Bonilla really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 71stth minute of the game Tauro Bonilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ñielol F.C's Ceandro Cauffmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Eleazar Polanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eleazar Polanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceandro Cauffmann having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Juan Cristóbal Madariaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ñielol F.C and the Futbol Rebelde players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Modesto Gartsman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Futbol Rebelde's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Gartsman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceandro Cauffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Nunez Fliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ñielol F.C's Juan Cristóbal Madariaga got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Futbol Rebelde booed when Ñielol F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germán Levenier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ñielol F.C's Ceandro Cauffmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Ñielol F.C from getting a goal against them. Futbol Rebelde's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
