In the 16th minute, Ludovico Campbell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Modesto Gartsman came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Futbol Rebelde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Gartsman couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Melozal's zone, Modesto Gartsman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Björkdahl came out of the goal and Modesto Gartsman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Yeray Argo fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futbol Rebelde's protests and gave Yeray Argo a yellow card for diving instead. Yeray Argo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Yeray Argo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jimmy Björkdahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futbol Rebelde. If Modesto Gartsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Futbol Rebelde's Jimmy Björkdahl threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Modesto Gartsman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Modesto Gartsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Modesto Gartsman took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmy Björkdahl. Jimmy Björkdahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The Futbol Rebelde fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Futbol Rebelde's Modesto Gartsman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Modesto Gartsman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Futbol Rebelde's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Gartsman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Björkdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nafarroa Zebadilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
