With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Gustavo Arostegui in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Piorno saved Futbol Rebelde from getting behind. When Carlos Gustavo Arostegui came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the CD Uli Hoeneß EV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Gustavo Arostegui couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Carlos Gustavo Arostegui who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Herminio Piorno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Rebelde's zone, Ángel Gabella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Piorno came out of the goal and Ángel Gabella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Herminio Piorno managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when CD Uli Hoeneß EV's Carlos Gustavo Arostegui fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Gustavo Arostegui in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Piorno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Futbol Rebelde's Nafarroa Zebadilla got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Nafarroa Zebadilla off the ground. The supporters of CD Uli Hoeneß EV booed when Futbol Rebelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nafarroa Zebadilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Gartsman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Despite being the better team, CD Uli Hoeneß EV failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
