In the 33rd minute Modesto Gartsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Grajales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Grajales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Gartsman in the 35th minute of play. If Joel Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Grajales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Gartsman in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Goodfellas got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Bazan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Gartsman in the 45th minute of play forced Goodfellas's goalkeeper Cornelio Grajales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Modesto Gartsman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 74th minute Modesto Gartsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Grajales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Futbol Rebelde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frances Concha to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Goodfellas's Alesandro Carcamo tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Modesto Gartsman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cornelio Grajales. Modesto Gartsman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Joel Varela struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Cornelio Grajales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futbol Rebelde. 88 minutes into the match, Goodfellas's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Villagra came free, but Cornelio Grajales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Goodfellas's Cornelio Grajales got control of the ball when Joel Varela tried to sneak it across the goal line.
