Marino Socias kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. A collision led to Ñielol F.C getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Juan Cristóbal Madariaga hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Pinuta's Jimeno Faverau got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Ñielol F.C defense, Daniel Montane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceandro Cauffmann. The Ñielol F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceandro Cauffmann should have stopped the shot. Luis María Comas took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ceandro Cauffmann. Ceandro Cauffmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Daniel Montane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ñielol F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Germán Levenier in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Benicio Villagra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benicio Pinto. That made the score 1-2 in the 42 minute of play. After the first half Pinuta were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Montane was the one to do the kick off. Ñielol F.C's Ceandro Cauffmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Ñielol F.C from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Ñielol F.C's zone, Luis María Comas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceandro Cauffmann came out of the goal and Luis María Comas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Montane struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ceandro Cauffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinuta. Ceandro Cauffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Montane in the 68th minute of play. Benicio Villagra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Pinto having to interfere. If Luis María Comas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceandro Cauffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Montane in the 83rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipo Webar during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filipo Webar hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Marino Socias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pinuta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
