Josué Aguilera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Herminio Piorno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Futbol Rebelde's goalkeeper Herminio Piorno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josué Aguilera. Josué Aguilera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herminio Piorno having to make a save. Futbol Rebelde's Joel Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Normando Maack got free with Herminio Piorno in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Modesto Gartsman to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, EL CREADOR FC.'s Xavier Roco got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Joel Varela could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Lino Marfan however easily saved by the left post. After 56th play minutes Josué Aguilera shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Herminio Piorno and just under the crossbar into goal. Modesto Gartsman hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Normando Maack managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL CREADOR FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Normando Maack was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Piorno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Roco in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Piorno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Josué Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Piorno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Aguilera in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Josué Aguilera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Piorno was relentless in the 77th minute of the game.
