With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eder Squella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the game, Salvador Allende FC's Elizalde Fantini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Charlin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Elizalde Fantini came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marco Charlin could save by the left post. Marco Charlin was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Carlos Hernán Lyon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Hernán Lyon really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Marco Charlin made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Elizalde Fantini sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Salvador Allende FC defense, Lautaro Marful kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eder Squella. The Salvador Allende FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eder Squella should have stopped the shot. Reces Pablo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Eriberto Zebadilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th match minute, Salvador Allende FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Ortuzar to maneuver through the defense. Eder Squella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jasone Mowat's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Mapache UTD's attack was well implemented in the 43rd minute, but when Jasone Mowat was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txomin Mellado in the 47th minute of play forced Salvador Allende FC's goalkeeper Eder Squella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jasone Mowat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Eder Squella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jasone Mowat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jasone Mowat in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eder Squella, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mapache UTD's Jasone Mowat got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mapache UTD's Jasone Mowat was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some careless play in the Mapache UTD defense, Elizalde Fantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Charlin. The Mapache UTD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Charlin should have stopped the shot. Eder Squella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Marful in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Reces Pablo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salvador Allende FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-5. When the match was over Mapache UTD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Salvador Allende FC throughout the match.
