Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Evelio Allende made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Villagrán in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yeray Urresti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Copaquiri FC booed when Penco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elear Quevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Copaquiri FC's Xavier Villagrán made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yeray Urresti was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Villagrán in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yeray Urresti saved Penco FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Penco FC's Honorio Mac Kenzie got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Xavier Villagrán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copaquiri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Villagrán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Evelio Allende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Gamarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xavier Villagrán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Yeray Urresti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Morillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 minutes, Xavier Villagrán made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Penco FC's Yeray Urresti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustavo Gamarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Allende, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Maximino Cifuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yeray Urresti having to interfere. Elear Quevedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustavo Gamarra. Copaquiri FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yeray Urresti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavier Villagrán's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Copaquiri FC's zone, Evelio Allende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Gamarra came out of the goal and Evelio Allende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Penco FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Copaquiri FC were winning 0-3.

In the 55th minute, José Antonio Ward got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Xavier Villagrán got free in front of the goal in the 57th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Yeray Urresti was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 58th minute Xavier Villagrán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yeray Urresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yeray Urresti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Cifuentes in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Villagrán in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yeray Urresti saved Penco FC from getting behind. Aitor Goñi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute Xavier Villagrán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yeray Urresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Penco FC's Yeray Urresti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Villagrán in the 93rd minute of play. José Antonio Ward sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Penco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Copaquiri FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
