The supporters of Vodka Juniors booed when Los Tres Animales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alipio Heyboer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Vodka Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernán Magnolfi to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes Los Tres Animales got a freekick which was hit by Matias Caballero. Rogerio Aragón's late challenge caught a Vodka Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogerio Aragón helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Tres Animales fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Vodka Juniors's Ruyman Smith got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Miguel Ángel Marín. Edmundo Torrealba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Álvaro Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hipolito Ferreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Echedey Galindo with Stefano Brieba as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ruyman Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Ángel Marín having to interfere. The supporters of Los Tres Animales booed when Vodka Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefano Brieba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Ángel Marín took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Fredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Álvaro Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Hipolito Ferreiro made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Los Tres Animales's Edmundo Torrealba got a free kick in the 79th minute. Hipolito Ferreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Torrealba, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Narciso Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Hipolito Ferreiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Álvaro Vidal in the 88th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vodka Juniors fully deserved thier win.
