In the 2nd minute Adriano Antúnez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Santa María saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Melosas AFC's Adriano Antúnez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Igor Santa María. Igor Santa María yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Melosas AFC booed when Renaico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lander Esteban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Santa María made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Antúnez in the 9th minute of play. If Gonzalo Manso de Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauro Canío lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Adriano Antúnez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute Adriano Antúnez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Santa María saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lois Campillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Santa María read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Melosas AFC booed when Renaico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lander Esteban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Antúnez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Melosas AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eliazar Montane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Wal Gold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Lois Campillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melosas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lois Campillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Santa María breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Antúnez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriano Antúnez to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Melosas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Zárate to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Manso de Velasco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Wal Gold when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Enmanuel Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Santa María didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Melosas AFC's Adriano Antúnez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When Lander Esteban came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Renaico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lander Esteban couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lander Esteban during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Renaico's zone, Lois Campillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Santa María came out of the goal and Lois Campillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonzalo Manso de Velasco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Wal Gold skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gonzalo Manso de Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Wal Gold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Manso de Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wal Gold having to interfere. Lois Campillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adriano Antúnez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Santa María having to interfere. Melosas AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
