After 4th play minutes Jasone Mowat shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Igor Santa María and just under the crossbar into goal. Igor Santa María took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Campaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Mapache UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Urriola came free, but Marco Charlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Charlin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinaldo Urriola went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With his leg Igor Santa María managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Mapache UTD's Jasone Mowat fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Fabricio Campaña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mapache UTD's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Campaña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Santa María breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lander Esteban kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Mapache UTD's Jasone Mowat was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jasone Mowat struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Igor Santa María didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mapache UTD. 41 minutes into the match, Eliazar Montane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Charlin. Mapache UTD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliazar Montane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Txomin Mellado hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Patxi Cumplido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renaico's supporters rose to their feet, but Patxi Cumplido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Charlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reinaldo Urriola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Charlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Urriola in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd play minute Gonzalo Manso de Velasco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marco Charlin. 2-3. Marco Charlin came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Renaico's Eliazar Montane. But to his dismay, Eliazar Montane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Jasone Mowat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Jasone Mowat put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Igor Santa María. In the 69th minute, Renaico's Lander Esteban dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-5. 74 minutes into the match, Mapache UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Lander Esteban came free, but Marco Charlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Gonzalo Manso de Velasco could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Marco Charlin however easily saved by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, Mapache UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco José Killinge came free, but Marco Charlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Renaico's Claudio Salvatierra got a free kick in the 79th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Jaime during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Ambrosio Jaime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Marco Charlin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Marful in the 85th minute of play forced Renaico's goalkeeper Igor Santa María to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Jasone Mowat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Santa María was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. Renaico's Igor Santa María played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasone Mowat in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jasone Mowat in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Santa María saved Renaico from getting behind. A collision led to Mapache UTD getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Fabricio Campaña hit a great ball. Renaico's Jacobo Galindo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mapache UTD. Marco Charlin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Manso de Velasco in the 97th minute. The Renaico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
