With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Antúnez in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eder Squella saved Salvador Allende FC from getting behind. The supporters of Melosas AFC booed when Salvador Allende FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanausu Wittemberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Eduard Zárate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eder Squella was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eduard Zárate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eder Squella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adriano Antúnez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Melosas AFC's Eduard Zárate in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salvador Allende FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 23 played minutes Melosas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sarracino Soria. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Antúnez in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eder Squella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eduard Zárate scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eder Squella, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Adriano Antúnez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Salvador Allende FC's Jimeno Garriga seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jimeno Garriga the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Salvador Allende FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jimeno Garriga had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Salvador Allende FC! Sarracino Soria's late challenge caught a Salvador Allende FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sarracino Soria helped the player get up and apologised. Sarracino Soria kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Elizalde Fantini made the kick off in the second half. Salvador Allende FC's Eder Squella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Salvador Allende FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Melosas AFC's zone, Elizalde Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wal Gold came out of the goal and Elizalde Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Carlos Hernán Lyon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Adriano Antúnez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eduard Zárate, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eder Squella was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Salvador Allende FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Eduard Zárate scored to the left of an out of position Eder Squella, making the score, 0-4. With splendid footwork Eduard Zárate arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-5 by the left pole in the game's 66th minute. If Adriano Antúnez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 72 minutes, Elizalde Fantini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salvador Allende FC and the Melosas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Salvador Allende FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Elizalde Fantini hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Zárate in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eder Squella saved Salvador Allende FC from getting behind. Salvador Allende FC's Eder Squella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Zárate in the 77th minute of play. Adriano Antúnez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Eder Squella skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Adriano Antúnez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Elizalde Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano Antúnezs short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Eder Squella to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 89th play minutes Eduard Zárate shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Eder Squella and just under the crossbar into goal. Elizalde Fantini took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wal Gold. Wal Gold dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Melosas AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Salvador Allende FC.
