Spectators: 7448 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Baudelio Saso got the match started through his kick off. hdp's Rogelio Castelblanco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Elías Dittmann in the 3 minute of the game. Pablo Victoriano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Rivadeneira in the 6th minute of play. Rigoberto Barcelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Fath in the 8th minute of the match. After 11 minutes, Baudelio Saso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the hdp and the COLO-COLO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, hdp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baudelio Saso to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Baudelio Saso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rigoberto Barcelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, hdp's Cipriano Leal got a free kick in the 17th minute. Pablo Victoriano came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by COLO-COLO's Igon Olivares. But to his dismay, Igon Olivares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Narciso Rivadeneira kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Pablo Victoriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludovico Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, hdp's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Rivadeneira came free, but Pablo Victoriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Anselmo Iturralde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pablo Victoriano. Anselmo Iturralde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 32 minutes into the match, hdp's goalkeeper Pablo Victoriano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Iturralde. Ludovico Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Pablo Victoriano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leovigildo Villar kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. hdp's Pablo Victoriano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save hdp from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Igon Olivares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Iturralde got free with Pablo Victoriano in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. hdp's Pablo Victoriano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save hdp from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Anselmo Iturralde made the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Iturralde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Victoriano having to interfere. Pablo Victoriano came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by COLO-COLO's Ludovico Aguiar. But to his dismay, Ludovico Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 60 minutes into the game, hdp's Baudelio Saso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Barcelo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Rivadeneira in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Victoriano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 64th minute of the match Baudelio Saso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Baudelio Saso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 72 minutes of play, COLO-COLO's Narciso Rivadeneira made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Victoriano was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Rainerio Wheeler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match Narciso Rivadeneira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Victoriano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pablo Victoriano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Iturralde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, José Luis Menart threw the ball into play from the sideline. hdp's Cipriano Leal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Cipriano Leal fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored hdp's protests and gave Cipriano Leal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, hdp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Leal to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Narciso Rivadeneira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Victoriano. hdp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Rivadeneira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. In the 90th match minute, hdp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Castelblanco to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes of play, COLO-COLO's Ludovico Aguiar made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Victoriano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pablo Victoriano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Rivadeneira in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the COLO-COLO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
