Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fulgencio Gibbs got the match started through his kick off. Josías Oquendo struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Xulián Van Dijk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuniga. Josías Oquendo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Xulián Van Dijk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Josías Oquendo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Uriel Fanta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xulián Van Dijk. Curahue's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute, Rutenio Aguirrebeña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josías Oquendo in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xulián Van Dijk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Javiero Cantuarias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Xulián Van Dijk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josías Oquendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xulián Van Dijk having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Zuniga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javiero Cantuarias to maneuver through the defense. Josías Oquendo scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xulián Van Dijk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Zuniga's zone, Clemente Marileo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Huaiquiman came out of the goal and Clemente Marileo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Alba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Huaiquiman having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Vasco Barra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demetrio Huaiquiman. Zuniga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vasco Barra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Xulián Van Dijk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javiero Cantuarias, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Xulián Van Dijk came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Zuniga's Josías Oquendo. But to his dismay, Josías Oquendo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Zuniga's Demetrio Huaiquiman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Gibbs in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Joel Alba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curahue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Alba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demetrio Huaiquiman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Gibbs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Curahue's zone, Javiero Cantuarias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xulián Van Dijk came out of the goal and Javiero Cantuarias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Curahue! Javiero Cantuarias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xulián Van Dijk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Demetrio Huaiquiman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romualdo Grez in the 62nd minute. When Vasco Barra came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Curahue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Barra couldn't finish the play. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Curahue! Uriel Fanta walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After having played for 85 minutes, Romualdo Grez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curahue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romualdo Grez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Vasco Barra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curahue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 92nd match minute, Zuniga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Bauza to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Vasco Barra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Huaiquiman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Tirado's late challenge caught a Curahue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliberto Tirado helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Zuniga got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Tirado. Josías Oquendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Xulián Van Dijk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
