Pablo Victoriano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menéndez Portolés, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Widberg made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Tomás Fath sent off a good shot on target. Pablo Victoriano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Azaola in the 46th minute of the match. Pablo Victoriano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Azaola went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baudelio Saso made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Cipriano Leal notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ilalla FC's Stig Widberg. Leovigildo Villar hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The long shot by Isaac Lurquín in the 70th minute really tested Pablo Victoriano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to hdp getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rainerio Wheeler hit a great ball. If Victoro Lillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Victoriano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Azaola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Azaola in the 92nd minute of play forced hdp's goalkeeper Pablo Victoriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Azaola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Pablo Victoriano made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
