Xulián Van Dijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Cumplido in the 34th minute of the match. Curahue's Vasco Barra got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Uriel Cumplido took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Xulián Van Dijk to make any attempt to save it. Albino Arlegui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romualdo Grez in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Romualdo Grez might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albino Arlegui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romualdo Grez ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipo Paladino during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filipo Paladino kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Curtiduria's Patxi Mann got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Romualdo Grez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xulián Van Dijk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Rio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Romualdo Grez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
