Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Javiero Cantuarias made the kick off which started today's match. Josías Oquendo scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Barcelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Demetrio Huaiquiman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Iturralde in the 8th minute of play. Demetrio Huaiquiman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Iturralde in the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Zuniga's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Iturralde came free, but Demetrio Huaiquiman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Feliberto Tirado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrio Huaiquiman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Iturralde, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Elías Dittmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Anselmo Iturralde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zuniga's Demetrio Huaiquiman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rigoberto Barcelo made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Josías Oquendo sent off a good shot on target. When Narciso Rivadeneira came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the COLO-COLO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Rivadeneira couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Iturralde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Demetrio Huaiquiman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When COLO-COLO's Anselmo Iturralde in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zuniga's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute Nauzet Matute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Barcelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Iturralde was the one to do the kick off. Anselmo Iturralde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Demetrio Huaiquiman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Iturralde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Demetrio Huaiquiman made a huge save. 54 minutes into the game, Nauzet Matute was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuniga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COLO-COLO the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zuniga's Nauzet Matute got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Feliberto Tirado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. Feliberto Tirado kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Anselmo Iturraldes short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Demetrio Huaiquiman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. COLO-COLO's Rigoberto Barcelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nauzet Matute in the 60th minute of play. Josías Oquendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Iturralde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Demetrio Huaiquiman made a huge save. Anselmo Iturralde who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Demetrio Huaiquiman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Javiero Cantuarias hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Anselmo Iturralde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Demetrio Huaiquiman. Anselmo Iturralde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 76th minute, COLO-COLO's Anselmo Iturralde dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Zuniga's Demetrio Huaiquiman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Zuniga from getting a goal against them. Rigoberto Barcelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josías Oquendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, COLO-COLO's goal looked a bit too open when Nauzet Matute came free, but Rigoberto Barcelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Zuniga's goalkeeper Demetrio Huaiquiman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Iturralde. After 87 minutes of play Zuniga's Nauzet Matute was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Zuniga getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Nauzet Matute hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Zuniga's goalkeeper Demetrio Huaiquiman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Iturralde. Josías Oquendo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Rigoberto Barcelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuniga. 96 minutes into the match, Zuniga's goalkeeper Demetrio Huaiquiman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Iturralde. The Zuniga fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. COLO-COLO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
