Natanael Larrauna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceandro Albis in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Quinchao getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Moncho Foster hit a great ball. If Ceandro Albis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quinchao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sacaya the free kick. Saúl Martel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Salvatore Seraín had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sacaya getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Xaiver Iturbe hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Nestor Katalinic successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Natanael Larrauna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Costabal in the 34th minute of the match. Gilberto Costabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Natanael Larrauna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Gilberto Costabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Larrauna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Costabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Larrauna having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Costabal to strike the kick off in the second half. Saúl Martel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. In the 53rd match minute, Quinchao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saúl Martel to maneuver through the defense. If Natalio Cobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th minute, Natalio Cobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Romildo Massú cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nestor Katalinic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th match minute, Sacaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaiver Iturbe to maneuver through the defense. Salvatore Seraín sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Salvatore Seraín managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quinchao's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvatore Seraín was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Katalinic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ubaldo Matildo Aulestia struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Nestor Katalinic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quinchao. Ubaldo Matildo Aulestia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sacaya players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quinchao.
