Club Atletico Patagonia's Genaro Aiach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Patagonia from getting a goal against them. After 45 minutes, Conrado Valverde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sacatuwea and the Club Atletico Patagonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Patagonia's Miliano Manzanares got a free kick in the 77th minute. Luis Javier Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velasco Rondanelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Zavier Phillips shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Aiach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
