When Ceandro Albis fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sacaya's protests and gave Ceandro Albis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sacaya getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ceandro Albis hit a great ball. Ferdinando Palone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Costabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Roque AFC's Ferdinando Palone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Goycolea in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Victor Hugo Guillestegui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sacaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roque AFC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceandro Albis in the 27th minute of play forced Roque AFC's goalkeeper Ferdinando Palone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacaya's Nestor Katalinic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Sacaya from getting a goal against them. Sacaya's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aldo Jory 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After 39 minutes, Matteo Gorostizaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sacaya and the Roque AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Gilberto Costabal made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Schulz in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Katalinic saved Sacaya from getting behind. Nestor Katalinic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roque AFC. Ferdinando Palone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Costabal in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Roque AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Goycolea came free, but Ferdinando Palone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Roque AFC.
