Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's Juan Pablo Magnani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zavier Phillips in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Reinaldo Pallauta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerónimo Gebhard during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's goalkeeper Juan Pablo Magnani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zavier Phillips recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Pablo Magnani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerónimo Gebhard in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Zavier Phillips shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Pablo Magnani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Pallauta came free, but Juan Pablo Magnani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zavier Phillips had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Sacatuwea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
