When Tinguaro Donoso came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Juampi Coparao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tinguaro Donoso couldn't finish the play. The supporters of El Dragón FC booed when Juampi Coparao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Valderas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Risopatrón made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Troncoso in the 11th minute. If Jeronimo Asmussen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Risopatrón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Valderas in the 18th minute of the match. Uriel Risopatrón was a little too slow when Sebastián Gaviño got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. Erasmo Bazaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Uriel Risopatrón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Juampi Coparao FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Zarpas Ascue hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Julio Segarra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geofredo Larraona. Juampi Coparao FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Segarra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Mariano Valderas in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Uriel Risopatrón, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Albin Davalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Uriel Risopatrón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Mariano Valderas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Dragón FC's Uriel Risopatrón was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Uriel Risopatrón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Valderas in the 52nd minute of the match. Mariano Valderas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Liberto Abumohor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uriel Risopatrón having to make a save. If Mariano Valderas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastián Gaviño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Valderas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Risopatrón having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Juampi Coparao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco De la Maza to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle went the supporters of El Dragón FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Juampi Coparao FC side.
