The Sacaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceandro Albis in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferrán De Gavardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nestor Katalinic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulco Parada in the 21st minute. If Gilberto Costabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Katalinic didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. 33 minutes into the game, Áskell Snæsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerro Negro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sacaya the free kick. Nestor Katalinic came out of the goal and Natanael Betanzos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xaiver Iturbe took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferrán De Gavardo. Ferrán De Gavardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 47 minutes into the game, Xaiver Iturbe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ferrán De Gavardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Sacaya were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Xaiver Iturbe kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ferrán De Gavardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Costabal in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Cerro Negro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Kevad to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Bruno Kevad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Baltazar Goycolea took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Ferrán De Gavardo to make any attempt to save it. Ceandro Albis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ferrán De Gavardo made a huge save. When Cerro Negro FC's Natanael Betanzos in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 97th minute, Natalio Cobo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cerro Negro FC's Ferrán De Gavardo didn't even have to move. The Cerro Negro FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sacaya were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
