After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Pepe Díaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Maipú's supporters rose to their feet, but Pepe Díaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferrán De Gavardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natanael Betanzos in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Rosseman saved Club Deportivo Maipú from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Betanzos in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo Maipú's goalkeeper Juan Rosseman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natanael Betanzos made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Cerro Negro FC's Natanael Betanzos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Rosseman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Pepe Díaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferrán De Gavardo was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Cerro Negro FC's zone, Pepe Díaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferrán De Gavardo came out of the goal and Pepe Díaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Kevad in the 89th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Maipú's goalkeeper Juan Rosseman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natanael Betanzos got free with Juan Rosseman in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Kevad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Bruno Kevad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Rosseman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cerro Negro FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
