Juan Pablo Magnani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 11 minutes Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Moisés Villarroel who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Araucampeón Retirado's corner Xavier Angel Trujillo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Pablo Magnani quite easily take care of the ball. When Araucampeón Retirado's Lolo Ibarguen in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lolo Ibarguen in the 17th minute of play forced Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's goalkeeper Juan Pablo Magnani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Lolo Ibarguen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Juan Pablo Magnani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lolo Ibarguen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Pablo Magnani having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Alfonso Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Araucampeón Retirado's Lolo Ibarguen in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Juan Pablo Magnani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Lolo Ibarguen made a precise shot to the right of Juan Pablo Magnani. Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 43rd minute, Ariano Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Pablo Magnani came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Araucampeón Retirado's Lolo Ibarguen. But to his dismay, Lolo Ibarguen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The audience was convinced that Lolo Ibarguen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Pablo Magnani was relentless in the 49th minute of the game. After the first half Araucampeón Retirado were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Juan Pablo Magnani was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Lolo Ibarguen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lolo Ibarguen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 58 minutes into the game, Lolo Ibarguen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Pablo Magnani. Lolo Ibarguen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Araucampeón Retirado made a substitution. Roman Berbiz replaced Leandro Mazuste. 64 minutes into the game, Araucampeón Retirado's Roman Berbiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Pablo Magnani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adriel Mascayo 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-11. In the 72nd minute, Araucampeón Retirado's Adriel Mascayo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. Adriel Mascayo scored 0-13 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Pablo Magnani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the game, Araucampeón Retirado's Adriel Mascayo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Pablo Magnani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. Adriel Mascayo struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Juan Pablo Magnani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Araucampeón Retirado. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Feliciano Echegoyen took a quick shot and it went in 0-15 without a chance for Juan Pablo Magnani to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's zone, Moisés Villarroel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Pablo Magnani came out of the goal and Moisés Villarroel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 0-16 when Adriel Mascayo sped through Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Pablo Magnani. Adriel Mascayo had several of the Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-17 score and a disappointed Juan Pablo Magnani as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 96th minute, Adriel Mascayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
