Marquesas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rıfat İşbilir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Marquesas AFC's Alberto Landi got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Alberto Landi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Marquesas AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nastasio Bonilla hit a great ball. Gaitán Devia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximino Magalhaes. Marquesas AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With 32 minutes on the clock, Nastasio Bonilla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marquesas AFC! Gaitán Devia walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After some careless play in the Marquesas AFC defense, Rıfat İşbilir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Magalhaes. The Marquesas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Magalhaes should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rıfat İşbilir in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Magalhaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rıfat İşbilir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Maximino Magalhaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rıfat İşbilir took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Magalhaes. Maximino Magalhaes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Mariano Figari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Mamani to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Santiago Granados hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Mariano Figari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Magalhaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Firmín Angosto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lumaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firmín Angosto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Dudagoitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Maximino Magalhaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lumaco's Rıfat İşbilir got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximino Magalhaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfat İşbilir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Mariano Figari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lumaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Figari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Magalhaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 played minutes Rıfat İşbilir rounded Marquesas AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. Rıfat İşbilir struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Maximino Magalhaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lumaco. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Rıfat İşbilir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lumaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Rıfat İşbilir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Magalhaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lumaco's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
