A collision led to Obi Wan Cannabis getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ysmael Llanos hit a great ball. Fortunato Tocornal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Diaz Montero's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Santiago Diaz Montero made a precise shot to the right of Fortunato Tocornal. Blanquillo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Santiago Diaz Montero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute, Natalio Aizpuru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodor Buitrago scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fortunato Tocornal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Blanquillo AFC's zone, Santiago Diaz Montero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Tocornal came out of the goal and Santiago Diaz Montero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blanquillo AFC's goalkeeper Fortunato Tocornal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Blanquillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Darien Epulef. Fortunato Tocornal came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Obi Wan Cannabis's Teodor Buitrago. But to his dismay, Teodor Buitrago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Santiago Diaz Montero put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Fortunato Tocornal. Fortunato Tocornal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Buitrago, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Gaspar Ripamonti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Marco in the 44th minute. Santiago Diaz Montero struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Fortunato Tocornal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obi Wan Cannabis. After the first half Obi Wan Cannabis were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eulalio Mitrovich to make the kick off. Blanquillo AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Teodor Buitrago scored to the left of an out of position Fortunato Tocornal, making the score, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Diaz Montero got free with Fortunato Tocornal in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaspar Ripamonti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darien Epulef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Blanquillo AFC's zone, Quentín Dittmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Tocornal came out of the goal and Quentín Dittmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Obi Wan Cannabis's Gaspar Ripamonti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Marco in the 72nd minute of play. Darien Epulef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gaspar Ripamonti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Manuel Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Juan Oroeta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Ripamonti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Santiago Diaz Montero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Blanquillo AFC's goalkeeper Fortunato Tocornal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Diaz Montero. In the 80th minute, Natalio Aizpuru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodor Buitrago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Tocornal having to interfere. Santiago Diaz Montero's late challenge caught a Blanquillo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Diaz Montero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Blanquillo AFC booed when Obi Wan Cannabis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Diaz Montero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Víctor Javier Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obi Wan Cannabis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Víctor Javier Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Teodor Buitrago fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fortunato Tocornal, passed just outside the right post. Obi Wan Cannabis's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
