Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Barni Raineri got the match started through his kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Edilberto Dabrowsky put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of EL CHIVO F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Larmahue:s goal. 6 minutes into the game, Fortunato Javia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Carlo Enríquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlo Enríquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Mariano Mac Kay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Héctor David Chirinos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mercurio Aristizaval was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Larmahue's Isadoro Castex got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Héctor David Chirinos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Larmahue's zone, Héctor David Chirinos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mercurio Aristizaval came out of the goal and Héctor David Chirinos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Jose María Bernal got free with Carlo Enríquez in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Lolo Leyton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute Amancio Noriega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mercurio Aristizaval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Alberto Brieba during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mercurio Aristizaval breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Laureano Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Héctor David Chirinos came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the EL CHIVO F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Héctor David Chirinos couldn't finish the play. Héctor David Chirinos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Isadoro Castex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Héctor David Chirinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to EL CHIVO F.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Héctor David Chirinos hit a great ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Lucio Jose María Bernal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Larmahue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Jose María Bernal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in EL CHIVO F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Héctor David Chirinos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mercurio Aristizaval having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Héctor David Chirinos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Larmahue support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
