Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cachapoal AFC's Ricard Ambrosio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Cachapoal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Mariano Mac Kay came free, but Alessandro Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Larmahue booed when Cachapoal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Firmín Parga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cachapoal AFC's Alessandro Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Mariano Mac Kay in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Pedro José Urenda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergi Arbildo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Pedro José Urenda struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mercurio Aristizaval didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachapoal AFC. In the 21st minute Ricard Ambrosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mercurio Aristizaval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Enrique Mariano Mac Kay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Mariano Mac Kay in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emmanuel Cavareda hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Pedro José Urenda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Isadoro Castex fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Larmahue's protests and gave Isadoro Castex a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Isadoro Castex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isadoro Castex in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isadoro Castex in the 44th minute of play forced Cachapoal AFC's goalkeeper Alessandro Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Jose María Bernal in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Alessandro Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergi Arbildo in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isadoro Castex in the 55th minute of play forced Cachapoal AFC's goalkeeper Alessandro Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricard Ambrosio in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mercurio Aristizaval saved Larmahue from getting behind. Alessandro Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Mariano Mac Kay in the 58th minute of play. Enrique Mariano Mac Kay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Lucio Jose María Bernal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Larmahue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Jose María Bernal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stefano Magnani lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Alessandro Amaral, was totally fooled by Larmahue's Fortunato Javia, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Isadoro Castex was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Larmahue's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 79 played minutes Cachapoal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ricard Ambrosio. Eder Bocanegra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alessandro Amaral. Cachapoal AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cachapoal AFC's zone, Enrique Mariano Mac Kay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Amaral came out of the goal and Enrique Mariano Mac Kay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alessandro Amaral made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Sergi Arbildo sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Lucio Jose María Bernal could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Alessandro Amaral however easily saved by the left post. In the 94th minute, Albin Duval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cachapoal AFC's Alessandro Amaral got control of the ball when Lucio Jose María Bernal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Larmahue played a much better game than Cachapoal AFC and deserved their victory. The Cachapoal AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
