After a rather tough play, Cachapoal AFC's Magdaleno Amor got a free kick in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute, Firmín Parga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Washington Ondegardo, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Metin Başeski made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Magdaleno Amor sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoel De la Maza in the 83rd minute of play forced Cachapoal AFC's goalkeeper Alessandro Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Pedro José Urenda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Metin Başeski.
