The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Jesus Puyol put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Sotaqui FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nancul:s goal. Sotaqui FC:s Jerzy Kapera showed great skill when he stopped Ysidro Moroni:s penalty. Jerzy Kapera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Potts in the 38th minute of the match. Jerzy Kapera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ricardo Potts. In the 42nd match minute, Nancul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remi Carreño to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th match minute, Sotaqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Fenieux to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Sotaqui FC's Jerzy Kapera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Cisneros in the 53rd minute of play. If José Antonio Guesalaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Bombal kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Potts in the 75th minute of play forced Sotaqui FC's goalkeeper Jerzy Kapera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nancul booed when Sotaqui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Fenieux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerard Cisneros struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Jerzy Kapera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nancul. Jerzy Kapera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Cisneros, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Antonio Guesalaga in the 93rd minute of play forced Sotaqui FC's goalkeeper Jerzy Kapera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes of play, Nancul's Gerard Cisneros made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerzy Kapera was left in no man's land by his defense there!
