The referee showed Giancarlo Cortés the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 5 minutes into the game, one of Pichare:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Colmuyao AFC a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rodrigo Macuer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pichare's Naelio Dubornais. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Macuer in the 9th minute of play forced Pichare's goalkeeper Naelio Dubornais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, Pichare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Francisco Reina to maneuver through the defense. Naelio Dubornais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Macuer's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Rodrigo Macuer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colmuyao AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Macuer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes Colmuyao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ysidro Millanao. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modestio Arbieto in the 25th minute of play forced Colmuyao AFC's goalkeeper Casimiro Cobaleda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Pichare got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Frei. Rodrigo Macuer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rodrigo Macuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pinone Barahona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Naelio Dubornais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ysidro Millanao came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Colmuyao AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ysidro Millanao couldn't finish the play. Naelio Dubornais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Macuer went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Eder Anguita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manolo Súnico got free with Casimiro Cobaleda in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Pinone Barahona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modestio Arbieto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Cobaleda having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Bertrand during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pichare getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Marcel Bertrand hit a great ball. Ysidro Millanao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naelio Dubornais having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Pichare got a freekick which was hit by Ángel Chaparro. Pinone Barahona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Naelio Dubornais made a huge save. Rodrigo Macuers short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Naelio Dubornais to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Heliodoro Arce shot from long distance in the 68th minute, but Naelio Dubornais was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Marcel Bertrand was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 69th minute, Marcel Bertrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pichare's Naelio Dubornais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Macuer in the 78th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Pichare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúlo Faille to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Ysidro Millanao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colmuyao AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pichare the free kick. In the 83rd minute of the match Ángel Chaparro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casimiro Cobaleda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rodrigo Macuer might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naelio Dubornais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Macuer ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ysidro Millanao was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. After 88 played minutes Colmuyao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ysidro Millanao. Pinone Barahona succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4.
