To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Macuer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baudelio Puente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Ricardo Potts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Casimiro Cobaleda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pinone Barahona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Baudelio Puente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Rodrigo Macuer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baudelio Puente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nancul's goalkeeper Baudelio Puente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ysidro Millanao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baudelio Puente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eder Anguita went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Rodrigo Macuer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eder Anguita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Potts made a kick off. Gerard Cisneros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Cobaleda having to interfere. Colmuyao AFC's Casimiro Cobaleda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Potts in the 57th minute of play. Casimiro Cobaleda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Potts in the 59th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Abdón Toledo put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Nancul:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colmuyao AFC:s goal. The referee gave Colmuyao AFC a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rodrigo Macuer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nancul's Baudelio Puente. 0-2. When Rodrigo Macuer came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Colmuyao AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Macuer couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Nancul's zone, Pinone Barahona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baudelio Puente came out of the goal and Pinone Barahona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colmuyao AFC's Rodrigo Macuer got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The long shot by Ricart Ochagavia in the 82nd minute really tested Baudelio Puente's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gerard Cisneros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Cobaleda having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Macuer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baudelio Puente. Nancul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Macuer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. A collision led to Nancul getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. José Antonio Guesalaga hit a great ball. In the 98th match minute, Colmuyao AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ysidro Millanao to maneuver through the defense. Colmuyao AFC played a much better game than Nancul and deserved their victory. The Nancul players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
