Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) MERIDA FC's Eliazar Guajardo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedro José Hucke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marino Somoza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Uriel Gazmuri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliazar Guajardo in the 4th minute of play. MERIDA FC's Eliazar Guajardo managed to work through Club Atlético Camafeo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eliazar Guajardo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulín Larraguibel in the 10th minute of play forced Club Atlético Camafeo's goalkeeper Uriel Gazmuri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Alex Roger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martino Ureta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Uriel Gazmuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro José Hucke might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marino Somoza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro José Hucke ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro José Hucke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, MERIDA FC's Gerardo Mellado got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Gerardo Mellado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. In the 35th match minute, MERIDA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Mellado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro José Hucke in the 37th minute of play forced MERIDA FC's goalkeeper Marino Somoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Anabalon might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marino Somoza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Anabalon ran back to his position shaking his head. Oliverio Valencia kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Martino Ureta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Camafeo's Uriel Gazmuri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute Pedro José Hucke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marino Somoza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Anabalon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marino Somoza firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marino Somoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Anabalon in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro José Hucke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulín Larraguibel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético Camafeo's Uriel Gazmuri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Camafeo from getting a goal against them. Marino Somoza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Anabalon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jose Anabalon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Pedro José Hucke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MERIDA FC's goalkeeper Marino Somoza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Arnau Faure managed to get in a good position for a shot. MERIDA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnau Faure was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Gazmuri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Camafeo's zone, Martino Ureta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Gazmuri came out of the goal and Martino Ureta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Pedro José Hucke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Camafeo's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro José Hucke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marino Somoza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marino Somoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro José Hucke in the 84th minute of play. MERIDA FC's Marino Somoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro José Hucke in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, MERIDA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Anabalon came free, but Marino Somoza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnau Faure struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Uriel Gazmuri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MERIDA FC. Martino Ureta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético Camafeo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MERIDA FC for a fine match.
