Val Leal started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Barrancas CF's Ermegildo Plaza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleuterio Eleysegui made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Juan Jose Deppe came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Barrancas CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Jose Deppe couldn't finish the play. Stanton Faulkner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efraín Bafalluy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evelio Llamllam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Eleysegui having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Danél Parga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ermegildo Plaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Jose Deppe took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eleuterio Eleysegui. Eleuterio Eleysegui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Football Fortress getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Filomeno Nuñez hit a great ball. Evelio Llamllam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Eleysegui having to interfere. Eleuterio Eleysegui was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ermegildo Plaza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barrancas CF's Ermegildo Plaza got a free kick in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Jose Deppe to strike the kick off in the second half. Stanton Faulkner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Val Leal in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Barrancas CF's Stanton Faulkner got control of the ball when Efraín Bafalluy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Val Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Football Fortress's supporters crossed their fingers, but Val Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, one of Football Fortress:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Football Fortress. The referee gave Barrancas CF a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juan Jose Deppe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Football Fortress's Eleuterio Eleysegui. 4-0. In the 75th minute, Ariano Arellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efraín Bafalluy struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Stanton Faulkner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Football Fortress. In the 79th minute, Constantino Markmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Plaza kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Barrancas CF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Constantino Markmann hit a great ball. In the 97th match minute, Football Fortress was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andoni Arredondo to maneuver through the defense. Barrancas CF's Ermegildo Plaza got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barrancas CF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
