Atlética de Concepción's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezmundo Porras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th match minute, BARUTA FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Galindo to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Atlética de Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Marco Alzerreca. Agustín Honores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Ascue went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Domenico Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute, Geofredo From reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Niguel Segura. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 29th minute Domenico Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Honores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Sire charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Sire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Atlética de Concepción getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Esteban Sire hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, BARUTA FC.'s Ezmundo Porras tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of BARUTA FC. booed when Atlética de Concepción was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Alzerreca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Ascue scored 1-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agustín Honores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Atlética de Concepción defense, Edmundo Galindo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustín Honores. The Atlética de Concepción fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustín Honores should have stopped the shot. Domenico Adams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Honores having to interfere. The Atlética de Concepción players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BARUTA FC. were winning 1-4.

BARUTA FC.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlética de Concepción the free kick. Geofredo From blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niguel Segura having to make a save. In the 62nd minute, Benito Ascue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agustín Honores stood somewhat misplaced when Domenico Adams came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 65 minute. Edmundo Galindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Atlética de Concepción's Reinaldo Mariluan got a free kick in the 75th minute. A collision led to BARUTA FC. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Domenico Adams hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Igor Vivero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Domenico Adams got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Atlética de Concepción's Agustín Honores got control of the ball when Benito Ascue tried to sneak it across the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BARUTA FC. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
