When Shielifield United's Severiano Bernales in 14 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. José Ignacio Vives guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Roman Jaunti made the kick off in the second half. Geofredo Gorostizaga took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Ignacio Vives. José Ignacio Vives dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. José Ignacio Vives showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Bernales, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Adventistas FC's goalkeeper José Ignacio Vives had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geofredo Gorostizaga. When Roman Jaunti came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Adventistas FC fans jumped to their feet. José Ignacio Vives came out of the goal and Geofredo Gorostizaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adventistas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Pere Basanguren scored to the left of an out of position José Ignacio Vives, making the score, 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Pere Basanguren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shielifield United's supporters rose to their feet, but Pere Basanguren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Ignacio Vives breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Adventistas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fermín Puente came free, but José Ignacio Vives reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geofredo Gorostizaga got free with José Ignacio Vives in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Pere Basanguren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Ignacio Vives. The goal made the score 0-7. In the 94th minute, Victor Hugo Quitral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Ignacio Vives made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Aris Zisis sent off a good shot on target. The Adventistas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Shielifield United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
